School Council

The School Council is a group of elected students, one from each class, who act as the voice of their peers. These superstars are chosen every Autumn Term in a fun election where you get to cast your vote (just like a grown-up election, but with way less boring speeches!).

Once elected, the School Council meets regularly to discuss important school issues. They listen to the ideas on everything from the lunch menu to playground equipment, and then work with teachers and the Headteacher to make positive changes around the school.

Being on the School Council is a brilliant way to make a real difference at Portfields. It's an opportunity to develop teamwork skills, work on exciting projects, and have your voice heard!
