Portfields Vision Statement
Our ethos is built around our school logo: the Tickford Bridge in Newport Pagnell, which is the oldest iron bridge in the world. This symbol of strength, connection and a pathway to enable growth is the core of our vision.
The Portfields vision is to…
Securing strong and positive relationships and partnerships within our school, families and the wider community.
Delivering an outstanding educational experience and creating a lifelong passion for learning, where pupils take ownership and lead their learning.
Together, no challenge is too big. We take risks, support each other and build resilience for confident, happy and healthy minds.
Our curriculum, enrichment and opportunities inspire learners and nurture talents. Our pupils dream big, work hard and be their very best!
The 'BRIDGE' of Portfields Primary School is built upon values shared by all stakeholders. The Tickford Bridge has a structure of six cast iron pillars. Our ‘BRIDGE’ has six aims that uphold the vision and contain our values and behaviours we believe make Portfields an exceptional place to be.
